MEET OUR TEAM

Louise Hewitt-Wall - The Registered Manager
My health and social care journey began in 1995 when I started as a Nursing Auxiliary at Rutland Memorial Hospital. I worked there for almost 9 years learning about all aspects of patient care, working across the wards of General medicine, surgical, palliative care and stroke rehabilitation. Whilst at the hospital I trained and qualified in adult teaching and assessing along with qualifying as a complimentary health practitioner.
On leaving the Rutland Memorial Hospital, I went onto teaching and assessing care assistants completing NVQ’s in Health and Social Care, Diplomas and Apprenticeships. I worked for private providers, local authorities and further educational institutions with learners from all social care sections including domiciliary, residential homes, nursing homes, day centers and supported living for around 14 years. During this time, I completed my training in Quality Assurance and Health and Safety. I enjoyed supporting carers from around the world, those starting out in their careers, carers with English as a second language and those highly experienced and gaining a qualification in recognition of their knowledge and practice within the industry.
I also spent 18 months in this time coaching and tutoring learners with either learning disabilities or differing mental health needs in employment skills and worked as a job coach with several individuals.
After leaving the hospital, I have spent time working “on the shop floor” in residential care, private care and Domiciliary care gaining firsthand carer experience within these domains.
My journey with The Caring Company Rutland began in April 2019, when I was employed as the Quality Assurance and Training Manager. I worked closely with the founder of this company across all aspects including Quality Assurance, Training, Client assessments and care, CQC and Local Authority inspections, recruitment, supervisions and performance management. During 2023 my responsibilities continued to expand supporting the founding Registered Manager after which I officially took on the position of a Registered Manager in 2024.
Marion Graham - Field Care Supervisor
With over 30 years of experience in various care settings including Domiciliary, Learning Disabilities and Care Homes, combined with living and meeting people from around the world equipped me with the skills to connect and communicate well with individuals from all different backgrounds.
Being passionate about providing high quality care, promoting independence and improving quality of life makes me one of our most senior, capable and requested Care Assistants.
I have been with The Caring Company Rutland since 2022 and my role as a Field Care Supervisor involves observing, supporting and supervising other carers and help them become better in their role as Care Assistants.
Karin Brammann - Field Care Supervisor
I’ve spent the last 15 years as a health & social care assistant. I have always learnt how to use my experience to work at my client’s pace while following their lead.
I have worked with individuals who required personal care due to Dementia, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neuron Disease. I have provided End of Life care as well as Stroke Rehabilitation care.
For 13 years I have worked mainly as a live-in carer, providing personal care, maintaining the client’s independence and personal choice where possible. Provided support plans and had inputs in care plans. The responsibilities were wide and far, and I dealt successfully with a variety of different personalities.
During the pandemic I worked in Care homes as well as a social worker. Though, it was a tough time, teamwork was essential. Not my first experience of course, but nice being part of it again. I rejoined The Caring Company Rutland in 2023. I had previously worked for the company in 2016 and 2017 as a community carer and Rota co-ordinator for eighteen staff members.
I now work as a Field Care Supervisor as well as a senior care assistant. One of the aspects of my role is to observe, support and supervise other carers and help them in becoming outstanding carers.
