Testimonials

See below for some wonderful compliments from our Clients

Our family engaged The Caring Company a year ago to provide daily support to our 85 year old father who was struggling to manage timely meals and medication. Dad’s carers are attentive, kind and respectful to him and assist readily with any task he needs help with, even setting up his new train set! Whenever Dad needs extra time or transportation to medical appointments this has always been added into his schedule with a minimum of fuss even at short notice. Dad is really happy that he has the same two carers to visit most of the time, this has meant he has got to know them well and enjoys their company. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and I am always delighted by how tidy and clean Dads house is, clearly they take pride in leaving things shipshape! Dad is treated with dignity and appropriate respect for his age and intellect, which is really important to him. And I really appreciate getting a text message last thing each evening to reassure me that all is well, this takes so much stress away and I can sleep better! I am very happy to recommend The Caring Company to other families looking for care provision for their loved ones, when they wish to stay in their own home with support.

The standard of care you offer to our patients has been second to none and you should be very proud of yourself and all your carers. I have always only ever heard expressions of praise from patients and relatives and it is important you know this.
I wish you all the very best in the future and hope our paths cross again one day. I will never forget you and all that you and your team do.

Dear Team and Colleagues,

On behalf of the family I would like to say a massive thank you for the kindness and help you have shown us over the past months. The Carers who dealth with S over her last few days were so gentle and kind with her and showed so much compassion to us they really did care for the whole family. Latterly, D has been an absolute rock in the support she has shown to B. A very welcome oasis of calm during difficult days. Your company has such an appropriate name, I am so glad you were able to help us.

Dear Team, I just wanted to send a formal thank you for everything you and The Caring Company have done for Mum in her last year. It was always going to be difficult, moving house at the age of 86, into a new environment, and having to meet new people. However, the Caring Company made this whole transition much easier for her, noting her individual needs, treating her with respect and dignity, even when she was a little ‘strong minded’! What I cannot overestimate though, is the personal support to me and the family. I really valued your grounded and common sense advice Carole; your expertise in the caring field was such a valuable resource, and your understanding of our difficult situation was a realy comfort. The communication was exemplary too, we knew on a daily basis what changes had happened, and what the next steps were, promptly and efficiently. Please pass on our heatfelt thanks to all of the team who had contact with Mum over the last twelve months. She formed such strong bonds with some of the team, and these close relationships were a joy to see. She truly felt cared for.

You and your girls made such a difference to Mums life in the last few months since you have been looking after her. You all have been so kind and considerate and I know that is what is expected but I feel, and I know Mum did, that you all went above and beyond for her and made her life more happy and comfortable. I thank you so much for that.

I am very happy with the carers that come in to my house, they are all very cheerful and it brightens up my day. It is nice to be treated like a real person. Even though my memory is getting worse I am not stupid and I know when I am being treated properly. I have no complaints at all about the carers. I hope they can still come to help me, I want to live in my own home, I don’t want to have to go in a home and I would have to if they weren’t able to help me.

DR (Client)

I would like to say thank you to you and the team of carers who looked after and sat with my husband, CB, for the last few days of his life. It was a relief and great comfort to me and my family to have help and kind support at such a difficult time, and to feel that there was always someone close at hand.

JB (Wife)

Your kindness, care and support was most appreciated by my parents and the rest of the family.

As a Staff Nurse working for the Rutland District Nursing Team I have regularly interacted with members of The Caring Company team whilst providing care for community patients. In recent months we have worked particularly collaboratively with regards to a patient who has needed a great deal of regular input from our nursing team.

Louise and her team have been more than willing to attend joint visits in order to promote the highest standard of care for this patient. The Caring Company team have joined the nursing team in order to transfer patients onto replacement beds, they have also been involved in pressure area care and delegated wound care for this patient. It has been of great benefit to the patient and also the nursing team to have a care company so willing to work in this manner.

I am just writing to thank you and your incredible team of carers for the tremendous care they gave to my parents during the past 2 years.

My parents’ ultimate desire was to stay at their beloved home, and you enabled that to happen before they both passed away. You carefully managed their care package so they could maintain their independence for as long as possible, but quickly made additional provision when needed.

Your team of carers quickly built up a wonderful relationship with my parents and gained their trust. My parents were immensely fond of them and always looked forward to their visits. Your team of carers always treated my parents with the upmost respect and dignity. Not only did they give my parents the highest quality of care, but they also made extra time to chat to them and make them smile and laugh. It was evident that they enjoyed seeing my parents, as much as my parents enjoyed seeing them. They provided them with such outstanding personal service, for which I am immensely grateful. It was always a huge relief to me that you carers were looking after my parents, as I was fully confident that they would always take such great care of them. Moreover, if there were ever any issues you contacted me immediately and whenever the paramedics were called, your carers always stayed with my parents and gave them love, reassurance and support until a family member arrived.

I shall always be eternally grateful for everything you and your team of carers did for my parents.

Money and position could not have bought A better care. Thank you doesn’t come anywhere near the appreciation that I have for A’s Care Team. But yes, ‘Thank You’ a million times.

To you all, ‘Thank you’ doesn’t really cover the depth of our appreciation and our fondness for each and every one of you. You have had a tremendous inpact on our lives. Mum was so happy to see you and we were touched by the compassion you showed her on every visit. With love and appreciation.

It’s hard to find the words to thank you and all your staff. The kindness, compassion, love and dignity given to our mum by all your carers in the last year has been outstanding. She looked forward to them coming. Without your help she would have been unable to stay in the home she loved and for that we are forever grateful. So on behalf of the family, thank you thank you thank you.

I would like to put on record my thanks for the great service your staff provided for me during the period running up to the death of my wife. Though the service provided by all your staff was excellent I would ask you to pass on, in particular, my heartfelt thanks for L and Z. These two colleagues of yours managed to be both professional and warm and friendly which was a great help to me at a difficult time.

Dear Team,

I wanted to let you know how much your help and support was appreciated in looking after Mum and Dad over the last few weeks. Your help to sort out the chaos and to know that if you said you would do something you did, if you said you would call me you did, was so reassuring. And you were only a phone call away at anytime. Once again thank you to you and your team.

RS (Son)

Just to say a huge thank you to you personally and also to your ‘ladies’. I could not have wished for better care for B. You made his last few weeks so comfortable and it meant so much to R and myself.

JA (Wife)

I wanted to express my gratitude to you for all your help and understanding in providing a framework of care for my mother. The carers you provided were absolutely first-class in every way. Their attention to my mother was wonderful. It was personal and never seemed like ‘just a job’. I know my mother was fond of them and I can honestly say that it made a very difficult time bearable which I never thought I’d be able to say. I have recommended your agency to so many people and wish you and your carers continued success. With very best wishes.

VM (Daughter)

A big thank you from P’s family and me for all the care and kindness you gave him and me over the last few weeks. We shared a few tears and a bit of grumbling but you were all lovely and I will remember you all.

WB (Wife)

It is also lovely to hear from the families we have worked with. Below are some of the letters we have received over the years:

Carole and the staff at the Caring Company looked after my Mum for several years until her death in June 2018. Their care was exemplary. From the consideration and patience they always showed Mum, to the detailed and professional notes they wrote at every visit, they gave us confidence that Mum was in very safe and caring hands every day. Their professional, personal and caring approach typified everything they did. Mum was virtually immobile and needed help with everything from washing and dressing and administering prescribed medicine, to preparing meals, and she received comprehensive and sympathetic care throughout. The Caring Company6 worked with medical staff to provide care for Mum’s lymphoedema, severe arthritis, diabetes and her hearing loss. They were obviously very well-trained in these specialist areas, always taking instruction from the medical staff and carrying it out carefully. The Caring Company were never late for a call, always treated Mum with dignity and respect, and made her feel comfortable, safe and cheered every day. Their dedication extended to waiting with her if she was in need of anything, such as help talking to doctors and other medical staff, or giving her extra time if she was ill and could not be left along, until family could arrive. Mum’s final wish was to be at home at the end, and Carole and her staff helped and supported us in achieving that, giving advice and help in getting the home into a suitable condition for her when she was discharged from hospital and bedridden. The provided practical, reassuring and supportive care for Mum and the family until she died. Our family is very grateful to the Caring Company for everything they did for Mum and would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for first class and professional care. A big “Thank you” to them all.

JJ

Hello Carole Mum often spoke fondly of “her carers”. Sometimes when she got a bit confused she would ask when they were coming to look after her. Without exception your carers are kind good people who did so much to make Mum’s life bearable during three years of steady physical decline. What they provided most of all was companionship, someone to talk to, and making light of all the various indignities. Mum was a fine tough woman. Please pass on our remembrances and thanks to all those who looked after her so well. With best wishes

My wife suffered from Alzheimer’s and during the last year required a high level of support including personal care. This care was provided by The Caring Company’s dedicated staff. My family and I cannot speak too highly of the staff provided by The Caring Company their dedication, professionalism and compassion alleviated my wife’s suffering and she was able to maintain her dignity and passed away in peace and comfort. My personal thanks goes to Carole Dawson, Managing Director of The Caring Company who attended personally to my wife in her final days. The service she provided went far beyond my family’s expectation and we will be eternally grateful. Yours sincerely
